The SoCal Maker Convention is dedicated to providing an enriching and inspiring environment where young inventors can be empowered through discovery of science and technology.
The program was launched last year with great success! Over 50 schools participated and we were able to give out over 2,500 free tickets.
Here’s how it works:
An administrator or teacher must reach out to register your school in the program. Once added to the program, the school will be awarded 20 – 100 (depending on need) free tickets for ages 11 and under on a first-come first-serve basis as the program is funded. Adult tickets not included, so please purchase separately.
Don’t delay in getting your school or club registered for the program!

Young Inventors School Sponsorship Program
Help support our Young Inventors Program by sponsoring teachers or schools bringing students ages 11 and under You can designate a specific school, district or you may allow the program to select one for you. In appreciation, your name or company will be featured on the Young Inventor Sponsor’s Page! While your sponsorship is not tax deductible, it truly provides an amazing experience for many young people whose attendance would otherwise be prevented.
For college educators and schools or clubs that don’t qualify for the Young Inventors program, please contact us for group rates of up to 50% off the regular ticket cost. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire further about this opportunity.
