The SoCal Maker Convention is proud to promote participation of students in the 19th annual JPL Invention Challenge. This competition is free to enter and designed so competitors can participate with minimum expenditure of financial resources.

Get your team together and take on this engineering challenge! To register your team and obtain competition details, send an email inquiry to Paul MacNeal – JPL engineer and competition founder: paul.d.macneal@jpl.nasa.gov

Competing teams will be offered the opportunity to demonstrate their inventions in action at the SoCal Maker Convention on Nov 5. This will give them the opportunity to show off in front of an audience and get practiced up for the official competition being held at JPL a few weeks later.
